An AP report says that Apple Inc. is urging some iPod and iTunes users to hold off on upgrading their computers to Windows Vista. It warns that the iTunes software may not work well with some Vista users.
iTunes may work with many Vista computers, but Apple is aware of some compatibility issues, the company said. It therefore advises that users wait until it resolves these issues with an iTunes update in the next few weeks, iTunes software is central to synching music on computers with iPod players.

Microsoft launched Vista on Tuesday. This is its first major upgrade of the Windows Operating System since 2002. The company said it is working with thousands of partners, including Apple, to ensure that their software is compatible with Vista.
